1. Update your windows and driver

2. Check your Ram & Hard drive

Check your ram and hard drive its working fine or not

If in your PC some physical damage, and the health of your ram and hard drive not good, also a reason of “bad system config info”.

You recently replace your ram, hard drive, or any other hardware changed. Did your PC/Laptop fall down? If some harm to your hardware, then check and replace it.

3. Need to Fix Boot Configuration Data (BCD) File

If your BCD file is broken or destroyed, then you will see a bad system config error. And you are restricted to enter safe mode and windows 10.

And if you want to solve this error, then you require a bootable windows 10 flash drive or installation disk. If you don’t have a bootable USB for Windows 10, then you can use the media creation tool.

  1. First of all, You need to insert a Windows 10 installation disk or flash drive.
  2. Then Windows 10 setup will begin.
  3. And Tap on the Next button.
  4. Now select, Repair your Computers.
  5. Then you select, Troubleshoot>>Advanced Option>>Command Prompt.
6. Enter the following commands on the command prompt given below:
bootrec /repairbcd
use the bootrec/ repairbcd command
bootrec /osscan
use the bootrec/osscan command
bootrec /repairmbr
use the bootrec/repairmbr command

7. After that, Close the command prompt and restart your computer.

4. Fix the Windows 10 Registry

  1. You need to insert a windows 10 flash drive or installation media.
  2. Boot your device from installation media.
  3. Tap on Next and click on “Repair your computer“.
  4. Select Troubleshoot, Advanced option, and Command Prompt.
Enter the following commands on the command prompt given below:
5. CD C:\Windows\System32\config
6. ren C:\Windows\System32\config\DEFAULT DEFAULT.old
7. ren C:\Windows\System32\config\SAM SAM.old
8. ren C:\Windows\System32\config\SECURITY SECURITY.old
9. ren C:\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE SOFTWARE.old
10. ren C:\Windows\System32\config\SYSTEM SYSTEM.old
11. copy C:\Windows\System32\config\Reg\Back\DEFAULT C:WindowsSystem32config
12. copy C:\Windows\System32\config\Reg\Back\SAM C:WindowsSystem32config
13. copy C:\Windows\System32\config\Reg\Back\SECURITY C:WindowsSystem32config
14. copy C:\Windows\System32\config\Reg\Back\SYSTEM C:WindowsSystem32config
15. copy C:\Windows\System32\config\Reg\Back\SOFTWARE C:WindowsSystem32config

  1. After enter the following command, Close the CMD, and Restart your computer. If this is the issue it will be fix after follow this process.

5. Fix the bcdedit command

  1. First of all, You need to insert a Windows 10 installation disk or flash drive.
  2. Then Windows 10 setup will begin.
  3. And Tap on the Next button.
  4. Now select, Repair your Computers.
  5. Then you select, Troubleshoot>>Advanced Option>>Command Prompt.
Enter the following commands on the command prompt given below:
6. bcdedit/deletevalue {default} numproc
use the  bcdedit/deletevalue {default} numproc command
7. bcdedit/deletevalue {default} truncatememory
use the bcdedit/deletevalue {default} truncatememory command
  1. Close the CMD, And again start your Computer.

6. Restore your System

Sometimes restore is very important, it helps you restore your computer to the previous state. It helps you fix this error. Let’s go ahead.

  1. Open Start Menu.
  2. And here you search “Create a Restore Point” and tap on “Open“.
  3. Open “System protection“.
  4. Click on “Restore” and tap on “Next“.
  5. And select a restore point where you go back.
  6. And Tap “Scan for affected programs“.
  7. Tap on “Next“.

7. Reset your System

Reset is very helpful, It help you fix all the error and make your system as new.

  1. First of all, You need to insert a Windows 10 installation disk or flash drive.
  2. Then Windows 10 setup will begin.
  3. And Tap on the Next button.
  4. Now select, Repair your Computers.
  5. Then you select, Troubleshoot>>Reset this PC>>Remove Everything>>Only the drive where Windows is installed>>Just remove my files.
  6. Tap on “Reset“.
